Kim Hartman is currently in her 20th year of teaching high school English and is also a featured facilitator for Teacher2Teacher/ECM Educational Consulting. Kim, who holds a BS and MA in English Education, has served as Department Chairperson, been featured in professional development DVDs produced by McGraw-Hill, and been contracted as a free-lance project writer.
Additionally, she has been published in the English Journal and featured in the Ohio ASCD Journal. Kim has been the recipient of the Ohio Department of Education’s Best Service Learning Practice Award, the South-Western City Schools’ Award of Excellence, the South-Western City Schools’ Ambassador Award, and is a member of the 2011 Martha Holden Jennings Foundation Educators Institute.
Kim has previously presented at the SREB High Schools that Work Conference, Battelle for Kids Great Teachers Make Great Schools Conference, Ohio ASCD Conference, Delta Pi Epsilon National Conference, the Ohio Conference on Teaching and Learning, the OSU Principals’ Update Workshop, and the Career Technical Adult Workforce Policy and Leadership Forum.
Kim also developed DiGIMS Online, a software program to help English teachers quickly grade writing while easily tracking students on standards and differentiating writing instruction. |
